Hi all,

There are some wonderful images on this forum taken using the 7D. I have a 7D and 100-400mm lens and wondered whether anyone on here would mind sharing them expertise with me and tell me what the optimum menu settings are for the setup of the 7D? I really just want to make sure I've got everything spot on.

Any advice and tips would be really appreciated.

Thanks a lot

Simon

Simon, Art Morris wrote a great ebook for 7D users - 7D User's Guide which covers all the settings you will use including custom settings. You can order it from his website - See above ad (right beside the birdphotographers.net title at the top of this page - Arthur Morris Birds as Art - you can click on it to get there.

I second the Birdsasart (Arthur Morris) field guide. I recently bought his version for the 1D Mk3 and it has helped me quite a lot. My only complaint is that I sent a return email about it and they/he did not respond. Anyway I have gone past that issue now. Get the Art Morris guide, that's my advice.
