Craig:

What a tail, not easy to frame it or even keep it in the same plane of focus.

Sharp in general on the bird. The OOF vegetation near the head is a bit distracting, and not an easy fix.

The bright spots in the background are subdued enough to work OK for me.

Cheers

Craig,

I know all to well how difficult it is to get one of these fabulously coloured birds, I had to go to India to get the Asian one:S3:, which to my eyes at least is very similar.

Some people find those head colours to be unbelievably but they are correct.

True beauty, BG is not helpful, but I do not care at all:cheers::cheers::cheers:

Well done, Craig. These birds are very impressive. Randy has covered the points well but you did a great job to get the focus perfect and frame the whole bird and tail in the moment that you had.

A great shot Craig, of a lovely bird!

The foreground OOF areas stick out, but take little away from the shot ... thanks for sharing.
