great light and look back pose, perhaps another round of sharpening?

Nice lookback pose and light, and yes I agree with more sharpening. A couple of subtle dark areas in the BG that I would blend away (above and behind the head). Nice vertical composition.

Super pose Robert, and the feather detail looks good. I agree with the others that some more sharpening wont harm this, and I like the complimentary colour of the BG.

Love the pose of the little guy and the light angle is nice as well. There's something odd with the processing though, look at the end of the bill and the head almost looks foggy. I'd revisit this one as it is worth it.

I like the look back pose that you presented here. Nice, soft even toned BG too as well.

Thank you all very much for all your comments. Here is repost with more sharpening and looks like the foggyness is gone too.

Robert,
Lots to like here,My favorite pose as it displays everything about the subject so nicely, the elevated perch works well and separates the BG and foreground beautifully, all Bringing your eye to the bird, the Colors in the BG compliment this image well also.
The repost looks great to me. your Dof fell off slightly in the head area and the tail, But the added sharpening helped greatly and solved that... Very nice work!
