Taken at Wako earlier this year on an overast/rainy day. Small (for me) crop top and left.........hope it's not too tight for you Artie! :D Canon 1D Mark lll and the Sigma 300-800 at 466mm ISO 800 at 1/640 sec and f11......I was pretty close. Manual fill flash as 1/8 power.
As always comments welcomed and appreciated,
Roman

Great colors and sharpness Roman, the HA is great and I like that we can see the feet.

I would crop some off the right to get rid of that black spot at the upper right.

Like the colors and details. Great soft light, nice details without blowing out the whites. The water drop and the underwater feet are a bonus. Wish for a lower angle, but in wacko is impossible.

Very nice colour and exposure. I would also like lower angle and someone will no doubt mention the reed coming out of the back of the bird- but I wont'!

Nice colors, pose, and sharpness, Roman. The water droplets on the head are a plus. I'd be tempted to add back whatever you cropped off the top.

Hi John,
was wondering if someone would mention the reed........but if you follow it........it goes under the water and is what the Gallinule is perched on,

I like the downwards look as you can see the feet which are some massive on these guys. Like the water on the head too.
