I love the Canada Geese, especially flying in V form!!!

Exposure is not bad, looks like a hot spot on the tail. More EV would bring this under control. In this case the composition or placement offer opportunities to strengthen the picture. The body reflection is a bit distracting and the water highlights too. A lower position might have helped. Not sure what was on the other side of the water. You controlled the frame well, a slight dark spot in the ULHC - nothing real bad. When I had my 40D, I rarely raised my ISO above 400/500 to preserve IQ.

Overall a well framed image and a nice moment in nature. Thanks for sharing and keep em coming.

ps - do you like the 75-300.

This was taken last March which was about the time I started taking a lot of pictures which would probably explain the ISO 1000. This is full frame so I can review the crop to try and rid the distraction of the reflection.

I hate the 75-300 and don't really use it any more. I have a 300mm F4L now that says on my camera almost all of the time.
