Hi Adrian. I like these looking-up-the-trunk perspectives of large trees. Good exposure and I like the way the branches are positioned at the top of the frame. The OOF area, which covers the bottom third of the frame, is drawing my eye - I think the image would be stronger if you cropped about 3 cm off the bottom. :S3:

I have already cropped some of the bottom, but I was inclined to preserve the 3:2 format on this one...Unfortunately I don't know any technique to minimize the amount of OOF area from the shooting...I don't own a wider lens, and with the one I have
that's all I can get....

Adrian, I think you could crop this tighter as a 3:2 and still have a very nice composition. You should be able to remove most of the OOF area in the FG and still be able to keep the top branches on each side intact.
