This is taken from the top of Mannlichen (2350m high), overlooking the Jungfrau mountain, the Eiger wold be to the left (out of shot) and the small peak to the right is the Silver Horn all set in the Canton of Berne, Switzerland. I just liked the contrast between the grassland juxtapose to the glacier and snow cover mountains. You can see the layering as the forced it way up creating this mountain range.
On a foul and windy day in the depths of Winter, this is not a place to be skiing, with poor visibility, snow uptoyour waist+ and wind that cuts through you like a knife, so taking advantage of a slightly overcast day with good visibilty is rather refreshing. :bg3:
