This bird is really high in my wish list to capture nice image full body visible.

Lucky i got descent frame handholding from car window like so quick that in seconds too 3 image in burst and 1 was okay to keep.

Fact they are not giving more than 2 seconds by perching and going off in dense woods i had no time to check my camera specs and just fired shutter ..

Cropped vert as in original frame tail was not there and even the legs with perch was not so good.

All C&C Much Appreciated

p.s.

I worked on bg for cloning out some distractive high glowing patches and tried to show maximum i can for the crest.

not that great but i still love this birdie and hope you like it too.

Nice detail in this flycatcher Mital. I like the sharp eye reflection and the tufted crest looks good.

Considering handholding from the car window, I'd be happy with this one. The bg is a little funky but not one that looks like it could be easily changed and I don't think it's really all that bad. You got some great detail on the body and good light on the blacks.

Nice detail in this flycatcher Mital. I like the sharp eye reflection and the tufted crest looks good.

Thanks Herb.

Forgot to mention i repaired the eye. as from original the eye has many white glare spots which was big distraction.

Nice and sharp Mital, and I like the raised crest. Love the blue on the head, and glad you got your shot before he took off. :w3

Mital - you and Ken have really showed us what a fantastic bird this is. Your closeup look really shows off the facial colours and lovely detail of the crest. I am so busy looking at the bird that I don't notice any BG issues that you mentioned:bg3:.

Mital, this is excellent...such a close portrait of this beautiful bird is quite uncommon. I like the BG as well. nice exposure control.

Sharp with EXC detail and a good EXP. I'd lose the one speck at the base of the bill. And a few more on the plumage. The upper BKGR was bad luck as you did everything right including getting a very nice head angle.

take a great photo of this very complicated specie is amazing, i think the value of a photo is half IQ half specie rarity or skulking
