I woke up early this morning in order to capture some fall colors. Here is a HDR of the sunrise. It is not a usual landscape and I would love to have your honnest opinion. I developped it with Photomatix option Detail Enhancer. Then in PS I did some dodge and burn. The dodging was mostly on the foreground elements (cows).

Rene,

I am not sure the HDR here did anything useful. I find the FG and cows distracting and would suggest cropping just above the cows. For me a better option would be a 3 stop hard edge graduated neutral density filter to lower the brightness of the sky and allow ample exposure for the FG.

However, the sunrise is glorious though I see some funky red-haloing at the tree line presumably due to the HDR. I suggest picking the best exposure of the sky and let the trees be a silhouette.
