I have a trip planned for October 11-16 in San Diego. Not sure what type of birding to expect this time of the year. Should I bring my 500mm f/4 lens and my other bird photography equipment? Or should I plan on covering more scenic and seascape photo opportunities?
I have Art Morris' San Diego site guide but not sure if the birding potential that he describes in the guide are available in mid-October.
