Among more traditionally beautiful birds the Wood Stork is often overlooked, but I couldn't ignore this specimen.

Fantastic low angle, pose and setting. I'd love to photograph this bird some day.
Exposure and light look great. A bit big in the frame for me, but I do like it a lot.

David,

Too good of a crop, framing, POV, EXPo. AIA excellent frame.

Excellent IQ David, love the low angle, together with the feeding pose. Overall tack sharp, and I like the layered BG. I agree with Sid that the stork is a touch large in the frame. You are probably already on 1024 width, but more room left and top will work.

Excellent feeding pose, and I love the colours of the surroundings. Nice semi-raised foot, and of course the low angle worls wonders. I agree the subject is a bit big in the frame.

Hi David -- This is a fantastic shot with wonderful color, sharpness and surroundings. I love it as framed in this case but I am sensitive, as others are, to subjects being a little too much "in your face" framing-wise. Not here though for me. Sweet.

Hi David,
Love the ultra low angle and the layered BG. Agree with giving this guy a bit more space,

Ah, a handsome youngster. Nice job with a great head angle, a nice EXP, the partially raised foot, the open bill, and the nice low angle. AIA well done.

David:

Very sharp with nice detail and exposure, good feeding pose, love the multilayered background.

Too tight for me too. This would be any easy one to add a bit top and bottom to if you don't have more canvas to work with.

I like wood storks also, just such interesting looking birds.

Cheers

Excellent! I might have provided more room above the stork, but the exposure is perfect. Quality, peaceful image.
