What an interesting animal, well composed, exposed and sharp. Judging by Harshad's comments, I presume that this species is very difficult to photograph. So I'll excuse the very busy background, and the foreground branches that diminish somewhat the impact of this otherwise fine photograph.

I really appreciate seeing this interesting animal. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Ken - nice capture in habitat with good view of the bushbuck. I'd prefer a little more room below.

Great light. It looks like one could play "connect the dots" with the white spots on his coat. I find the foreground vegetation distracting but appreciate that this is his natural environment,

Thanks everybody, having just done a quick search here I think the comments on Bushbuck images are correct There are only two others both taken by me, I am quite shocked, as it is a very beautiful animal, but not often seen, although they are sometimes found in large numbers at lodges/campsites where they must feel safe. There were lots at the Hide in Hwange, but no images as they were always in the bush:bg3:
