You know, I have never taken a decent image of a female Harlequin Duck--Wonder why?:)

Wow, this is fantastic. Wish for a little better eye contact with the hen. The framing, EXP, and sharpness are exceptional.

later and love, artie

Great action, exposure and sharpness. It may not have the ideal head position but I'd be glad to add it to my portfolio if I had taken it.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the feedback. Sure wished she had tuned her head just a wee bit. I have others of her in the air I will post--not quite as dramatic as this one.

I love these type of posing for the photographer, crazy. Great image., If anything could be better, it would have been if the head had turned a little bit different. But sometimes it's not our decision, the **** birds sometimes don't do as we want
