I couldn't manage anything quite like the Marbled Godwit Flight but I got a black tailed godwit fight! It was a shame I could not get any nearer to the subject, I was working from a hide.

All C & C welcome.

Bet the bottom one had a headache. Light angle didn't help you out and the environs is a bit messy, (No fault of yours) but I'm wondering if you could present this as a vertical and eliminate some of the clutter. Despite what may appear as negative criticism, I really like the action captured!

Jonathan, I was thinking the same as Grace. I vertical crop would make a good improvement.

I'd prefer a tighter crop as well.

You can clean up all the clutter if you wish but no way to avoid the problems that come with the light from the right.... Great timing and sharp. A permanent hide?

Thanks for the comments I will look at a portrait version. I was there most of the day, unfortunately the light was not ideal until more or less it was time to leave, yes the hide was permanent.

I love shots that show great interaction like this. Agree with all of the above!

Good action captured Jonathan, and agree a vertical would help with the scruffy BG.
