Canon 50D Canon 180mm macro tripod, MLU ISO 100 1.0 sec f16
Just a plain background - what do you think - better or worse than the former image. I prefer the first, I would be interested to read what your preferences are.

Hi Jonathan. I like this background except for the light area behind the dragonfly's abdomen. Overall, I prefer the background of the OP in your previous post.

Artie, this is a strange pose you are quite correct. The dragonfly was either injured or it damaged itself when emerging from it's exuvia. I rescued it from my garden pond (see previous dragonfly post) where it was floundering in the water.

Johnathan...This is a beautiful image you can be proud of....Lovely bg, great sharpness, nice diagonal composition, beautiful colors! I like it alot!

Hey Jon, as Steve already mentioned, this BG looks good except for the brown areas. I also prefer the first version. :S3:
