Hi Jim

The image does make a potent statement Hate seeing all that trash around !!!

Imagine it was from the boat so not much you could do as far as positioning I like the bird head positions but would have liked separation particularly with the front bird Overall brightening might be beneficial but might alter the desired mood !!!

Yup, from the boat. I was really hoping for something dramatic with the series of image I took at the tires. None of them are really what I want. If I go any brighter, the whites on the neck blow completely :(

Good image Jim, it really makes you think.

AFAIK James has offered to help clean up the island in summer, there is way more than in this image, but the powers that control the place said no thanks or words to that effect. They need to clean the place but out of season of course.

Yeah, James was telling us that he offered to help. I have more images of the junk all over. Sometimes we, the human race, are pretty stupid.

Jim
As much as I'm sure you would like good, clean images of the spoonbills......sometimes these image are more valuable. They're not pretty......and as a direct result of man. It would make a great impact image for an article. Well done.

Tough conditions for them and these islands are far from being very pristine.
