Not my best image ever, but this is the largest bull I have seen in years.

What a rack! He is huge and handsome. This is a fine image and made even better because his "derriere" is nicely covery by the pine branch! I like how the foreground wildflowers match his lighter fur. Very nice shot,

Wow!! :2eyes2:
What an impressive rack...and I don't even see Elk in my neck of the woods but I know this one's huge!

No worries on where to hang your coat or hat with this fellow Chas, a very fine rack indeed.

Rachel,

Hard to tell in the image, but he was a 6x6 with huge beams and spread.
We had a few with more points, but those animals were not as impressive overall as this one.

This guy would be formidable in a fight! Very impressive, particularly the thickness of the lower brow and bay tines.

Pretty stout looking antlers. Perhaps one of your workshop participants should've stood near him to provide a sense of scale. I like the colors in this.

Chas,

I looked back at my photos of this bull last year and he was a 8x8 in 2010. Do you know why the decrease? Do they reach their peek and then decline or was it the bad winter?

Impressive bull. Like how he is partially hidden in the trees.
