How could I not post an image here on my birthday?? :Whoa!::w3

Well, technically it's only in an hour or so...but anyway.
Feels like the years are now really starting to roll by fast! Much like this herd of springbok gazelle in the Kalahari desert.

Critiques welcome - they were running right by my vehicle and I panned with them. Obviously the 'away from me' angle isn't ideal but I still like how it came out. Curious as to your thoughts.
Oh and excuse my absence on the forum tomorrow :bg3:.

Techs:
Canon 7D with 100-400mm L IS USM @ 100mm
f32 @ 1/60 SS @ ISO-400
Shutter Priority
Taken in harsh midday sun

Happy Birthday Morkel,
And the years go by quicker the more you get behind you! No problem wiht the angle here, kind of a "running with the herd" type of shot, which is always fun to be part of. Enjoy your day.

Has that - oops, they're going past me feeling :S3: (Like the years)
As for IQ - my turn :S3: "needs sharpening" :S3:

Like my Dad said, seems like took forever to go 18-30. But 30-60 was the snap of a finger.
Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Morkel, 21 again?

Re image, sadly it doesn't really do a huge amount for me Morkel, would like a bit more blur and might crop a tad off the top, where the three black horizontal lines are. Not sure how you can sharpen a blur?

Enjoy the day.

cheers
Steve

Thanks for the wishes Tom, Steve K, Harshad and Steve C

Here's a quick repost using a different sharpening action...and incorporating a crop as suggested :e3
