Love the pose and really like the little clump of stuff...it adds a bit of color. Excellent eye contact. Great low angle.

If it were mine, I would be tempted to clean up the dark spot to the left of the mound and the OOF dark bits of stuff to the left of the mound...perhaps they are little wavelets?

Looks like it could use just a tough of neutral or black adjustments.

Is that you I've been seeing across the sound with my binoculars laying on the sand? :)

Very nice, Mike....excellent on all counts. the perch has made a big difference. liking the size and placement of the subject a lot.

Love the grassy perch in the water. Nice pose and i agree about the blacks.

Man, everyone is right on the need for blacker blacks and neutrals. Otherwise very nice.

Thanks to all for the feedback!

I was traveling and working on my laptop but now that I am home on my desktop, I can see what you all mean about the blacks and contrast.
I guess I need to get one of those devices for setting the laptop screen angle properly.

Here is a new version reworked on my desktop.
