Sharp as all get-out; another amazing shorebird flight image. I only wish that the bird were flying a bit towards you.

Hmm, when are you teaching a workshop and where do I sign? :)
Top notch stuff, Arash. Killer IQ, light and pose.

Maybe the sharpest BIF, I have ever seen. You can make out all the detail on the far side underwing!
Beautiful colors as well, I like the wave rising at the bottom.
Superb!

Good plan Sidharth but I am thinking that it is hard to teach hand-eye coordination. In addition Arash is very skilled, works very hard, is narrowly focused on the task at hand--flight photography, and is quite persistent.

Tack sharp Arash, great wing position, and the turnstone is separated so well from the water BG. Excellent detail and colours on the turnstone too. Well captured.

Thanks Artie, I think it is actually angled slightly towards the camera, the larger version shows this more clearly.

Thanks everyone for nice comments!

Thanks for nice comments Sidharth! I agree with Artie that a lot of it is practice and patience, but there are a few AF tricks for capturing flight shots like this, let me know next time you're in town, I'll show you another small trick just like last time :bg3: BTW, I have to say the quality of your work has improved a lot since last time we met at the baylands, so I should say congrats!

Top notch image, Arash. That's a really fast, small bird.
I wish I had been there next to you when you shot this bird, but I doubt I'd got it.
Thanks for the tips you gave me the other day. I look forward to shooting again with you next week.

Thanks Arash. I appreciate the encouragement.
I'll be sure to get in touch the next time I'm in your neck of the woods. Thanks!
