I like very much this kind of exposition, a very slight counter light by one side. Kgalagadi transfrontalier Park. The shot was easy, with a zoom 70-210 slide 100 ASA.

Dramatic light on that jackal Valerio Do think you need to increase the contrast

Backlit images can seem very flat I know its not easy doing so and preserving the mood but feel its needed !!!

Worked it out in PS and had to add a ton of black the some curves
