Well things are returning down here. Caught this Red-necked Stint in late afternoon light. Also ran into fellow BPN member Mark Young. Nice to meet you Mark.
1dMK 4, 500mm + 1.4ext. 1/800 @ 5.6. 400iso. EV +1/3. Did a bit of clean up on the beak and legs - highlight spots.
Thanks Tom

A beautiful portrait of what I believe is an adult molting into basic plumage. Love, love, love the head angle and that tiny beak--it is surely a male based on that little bill. The light and the blues are killer. Now go get a juvie and post that!

Nice shot. I like the low angle and the little waves around the legs. Bird is lovely but I find him a bit washed out. I would play a bit with curves on the guy and tone down the whites by the beak and belly but just a tiny little bit,

Awesome Tom, it was good to finally meet you. I didn't fare as well with my images, but I'll post one in a minute or 2.

Seems OK this end but may be a bit light. I feel like I'm playing with fire when using curves. Thanks for the suggestion.
