This guy gave me very little time, just enough to fire off a few frames before flying off.

Apologies in not replying to my previous posting, I have been away.

Lens: 500f/4 plus 1.4x - handheld
Exposure: 1/1600s at f8 ISO400 0 stop compensation
Crop: Almost FF, slight crop (original capture vertical)

Good capure! Sharp where it needs to be. The iridescence on the neck is beautiful.

Steve, absolutely beautiful as always. On the one hand, I like the way the grasses frame the object. On the other, I wonder what it might look like if you cloned out the two tallest blades of grass the the birds right. Just a question, not sure it is better. Love the colors.
