Although the chick is not in focus, I really like this picture b/c it helps to depict just how different yet similar the chicks and adults actually are.
Canon 1D3, Canon 100-400L
F8, 1/1250sec, ISO 400, manual mode
Handheld

I like what you're seeing here, Marina. It's a story worth telling, even if the conditions weren't optimal (the chick partly hidden, partly out of focus).

I think the image is very effective. It tells the story well. The poses are close enough to work well together, I like the rich brown on the adults head, and the matching whites on both.

I like the idea here Marina and the light on the browns of the adult. I would have loved a bit more dof on the adult and think the chick has just enough to get away with it. Real sweet to have included the baby for comparison.

Very nice...IQ looks great and the colors as well as exp look spot on...The one in the BG is also pretty sharp...NICE CREATIVE IMAGE!

I love that the chick's head is parallel to the adult's. EXP spot on.
