I just moved to California about 6 weeks ago and finally was able to get out with the camera after unpacking. Being from the Midwest, I had not seen shorebirds in huge flocks and combined with the fact that many were lifers for me, I had a great morning. It was a foggy and never really cleared up, but I made the best of it. The bill is not as sharp as I would like and I still need to do some selective NR, but wanted to post something. Thanks.

Great image perhaps overexposed slightly. Saw two of this species dueling this past week.

Your image has a really nice high key look to it, I might adjust the exposure, just a small bit, if it were mine. Nice sharp details on the bill, raised leg ...... well done

I was wondering if it was a little to much exposure. I selectively burned some of the bird and ground, but left the white BG alone. Better?

Repost looks better but I would have liked to see more details in the bird's head. Really like the FG and the high key works well here. I am seeing the bird's side is sharper than its head.
