Hello everyone!

Here goes my second post. I was walking through the jungle when I felt a pair of eyes watching me. I turned and spotted the owl. I carefully composed the shot and managed to grab a few frames before it flew away further into the jungle.

Shooting data for this image: Nikon D90, Nikon 300mm/f4 AF-S. ISO 640, f4.5, 1/1250, 2/11/11, 4:04 pm.

Needless to say, open to all comments and thank you all in advance.

Good eye just to spot this little guy. Shooting up into the trees with patches of bright sky showing is a really challenging situation.

Love these little guys. Your image with the habitat shows how small they are. Not crazy about the square crop.

I like the feel and the bird....it being small in the frame does not bother me a lot. However, the details are a tad soft. You were clearly in a very challenging situation with the light and branches.
