Taken in Mapungubwe Transfrontier Park a while back. Liked the look this young Baboon was giving me.

Cropped removed some BG branches and some dodging and burning for effect.

C&C allways welcome.

nicely done , I don't know how but you may want to re-visit RAW to improve IQ here

Really cute image. I like the eye contact and unusual pose. I agree that some additional processing would make this better. Try adjusting the entire image to get the left hand side and the baboon into better exposure and color/ saturation balance. Then bring up the branch on the right to avoid it being too dark. Just some constructive suggestions.

Love the POV on this, Pieter, and very nicely composed. Great eye contact, pose, and like the directional light. Agree suggested processing could make it even stronger.

The top right corner is a colored hot spot that pulls the eye into it. I'd crop it off. And I'd like to see bit more of the critters right eye.

Thanks guys for your comments and constructive feedback. This overall effect is what I was looking for but will revisit the RAW and try and improve as per suggestions. Thanks all.

I also like the look here Pieter, but feel the IQ is not up to your usual standard :e3. I am also curious as to the blown out sky and pitch black sections on either side of the tree? Was this done in PP? :Whoa!:

Hi Morkel, Yes this was done in PP, was trying something different, but as stated probaly not good image IQ to begin with, thanks for the honest feedback though I appreciate it.
