American Redstart
Galveston Island, TX
D3, 600, ISO 800, f13, 1/800.
We have such a severe drought here in Texas that my water drip pulled in nine species of Warbler yesterday.
Here's a female I got in late evening light. The perch was set up over the drip pond.

Alan the overal comp is so interesting with a beautiful perch and amazing light. I love the birds pose and great detail. I never find fault in your images but I keep finding myself distracted by the bright area on the vertical branch. Gorgeous image as usual.

Nice warm tones in the BGD Alan, great pose by the bird. I like the tail up look and the very detailed perch in sweet light.

This one is out of the ball park, and the pose of the bird is the kicker.

Fantastic. What is the plant that you are using for a perch? I have a couple in my yard, one is a bird transplant. The mockingbirds seemed to like the fruit, but they are just starting to get red now.

Love this one Alan, especially the way that the bird is perched with that tail up. Real eye catcher with all the color.

killer pose and eye contact, maybe removing the twig going up can give more force to the composition
