Sorry, usually I take pictures of birds. But sometimes I see other things that I think is fine. Data: EOS 1D MK III 500mmL 4.0 IS. ISO 100, F 32, 1 / 5, Lightroom.

I like this composition you created, Geir! Great low angle, clean and simple with nice detail. Like reflections and just the hint of water in FG and BG. It almost looks like the mound the shells are on could be a horseshoe crab.

Nice use of the 500 mm "macro" Geir. The simple comp works very well here with the cockles standing out nicely from the fore- and background. The soft light and calm water create a pleasant, serene mood. Very well done. I hope to see more macro work from you.

Geir, I'm late to the party...but the subtle coloring in the background and foreground (great job capturing and processing those pale, pastel colors!)...and the curved lines of the raised sand and the shells themselves...beautifully serene image. The 500 is my dream lens - as in not yet realized! - an image like this makes wonderful use of it. I hope to see more from you.

I like it. It look as if they are talking to each other and the one on our left is laughing at something funny. I too often use my long lenses as macro lenses.
