The "potato chip" photo was probably the best I got of a chance encounter with these birds on a hike in the woods.
However, I will post another, which has a messy perch, poor light (but soft) and the usual forest BG.
but is still the habitat they live in.
You should always hike with a 70-200 lens, you never know.

But for the potato chip, the other one was better but only 78,459 times better (for obvious reasons). And that one was in "habitat" too. :S3:

You are right Arthur, I knew this would be a bomb here, but was asked for a photo without a chip, I should have thought better.
Oh well, they can't all be winners, and I agree with your critique.
