This was shot using bean bags on top and bottom of the lens. The fellow sat a little comfortably in the position given on a cloudy day. So I dropped the ISO to get maximum details as i felt I could be sturdy enough. Sometimes the autofocus of the ID M IV really amazes me even after a year and a half of use.:S3:

Ramesh, good DOF, and good choice of comp. The overcast conditions have brought out excellent feather detail, and overall nice and sharp. Maybe a little more space at the bottom. :w3

Everything's working well here, Ramesh; everything's tying together. I like the over-the-shoulder lookback, I like the sharpness of the eagle from tail to crest, I like the simple BG which flows so nicely with the bird and its perch, and speaking of perches, I like that too.

Way cool! A bit of jpeg compression evident in the BG from resizing, but I can just imagine how creamy smooth the BG must be in the original. Lovely subdued lighting too. Excellent work, although with the 1D MK IV I wouldn't worry about noise and IQ to the extend of lowering the ISO so much :-)
