Sunrise over Amanda and Rick

As I was waiting for the sun to rise over the horizon and maybe beat back a little of the dense fog
at the Seal Rock Park in Coastal Oregon, I saw the sun coming through this group of trees atop
this rock face to the east.

I tried several things and ended up doing some work with Topaz Adjust. It is not a typical landscape
but I thought it was interesting.

ISO 640 F11 1/160
Raw converted in Lightroom finished in CS5.

Yes this is interesting. I like the composition. If the rock at the bottom was not obstructed by something man-made, I feel showing more at the bottom would have helped the rock face from feeling cramped.

Interesting for sure. I love the colors of the rocks. Is there some copper in them??? Yes to a bit more room on the bottom but to me this one screams for more on the top. Well more with those inviting rays.
