I quite like the hint of colour you left in this Lorant - though I'm sure there will be some here who don't :w3, but it's all good since art is about having an opinion after all :S3:.
I think cropping tighter from all around will place greater emphasis on the face and eyes as the texture in the BG tends to be a bit prominent, what do you think?

Lorant - fun experiment. I find the bg somewhat distracting. I wonder if Morkel's suggested crop will help that.

I too agree with the crop suggestion. I believe I would prefer this without the color.
