Always nice to capture an image with prey as it adds a lot of interest. I like the head angle of the bird and that we can see the head of the prey. The light appear a bit harsh/bright on my monitor. I tried a couple edits in photoshop to even out the light and reduce the highlights on the rock.
1. Using a burn and dodge layer, I burned the rocks and a little on the back of the bird and lizards head. I dodged the underside of the bird, lizards body , and the rocks to try and even out the lighting.
2. I used a combination of the patch tool and cloning tool to tone down the brighter spots on the rock.
3. Last I used a color layer and painted over the darker part of the background by selecting the green in the upper left hand corner.

Subtle changes; I will leave it up to you as whether it is adds to the image or not.

Thanks for sharing.

I love rock thrushes, and I love this image, despite the steep angle and the missing lower half of the bird. The lizard in the bill is compelling. I saw no thumbnail on the Avian page and I could not see the image that tiziano posted. I'm basing my opinion on Phil's repost, the only image I was able to see.
