Taken at my local Reserve back in June; several of these were happily feeding close to the hide.
There many more around at this time of the year but the flocks are to far from my vantage point at the moment.
I have not seen the Bar tailed Godwits as yet at this location. Impressive reaction from the flock when Peregrines are hunting
which I have witnessed several times but been unable to capture.

Nice composition and I love the water. Light a bit harsh, and coming from the right it was a good thing you got the HA that you got. The IQ here is one of the better I've seen from you...:c3:

Hi Richard, your choice of comp was the only way to go, so well done on that. Good HA, and the light certainly shows off the feather detail on his back.

Good one Richard. I would boost the vibrance a bit and/ or the contrast. Well done with the harsh light. Good comp. I like it!
