Here is another scene on Horseshoe Lake at daybreak on a misty morning. On this morning, I woke up early and paddled my canoe across the small bay to a rock directly across from the cottage and waited. I evicted a neighbors dock from the closest point, but that's it. The mist hid the other docks that are further into the image. To the left, just outside of the image is my families cottage.

Hi Andrew, well framed comp! Love the images tonality along with the layered trees in the backround. I also like the fact you didn't center the opening but left it offset. Just enough detail in the left hand shoreline to keep the somber mood but one can still make out whats there. Finally the mist on the left adds to the whole. Nicely done!!

Andrew, this is nicer than the first you posted.
The only thing I would do is tone down the sepia just a tad, the water and the mist and mood are terrific.
A really nice job with a tele lens.

Andrew,

Good use of the atmospheric conditions to create laying and a 3D look int he image. I also like the left to right and back flow of the FG land left, middle ground land right and then to the center BG layers of forest. Great use of these elements to provide a leading line through the image.

I too like this better than the first, and I liked the first one too. Agree with all Robert said.

Hi Andrew,
Agree with all the above comments and not much I can add here, other than I like the image all around. Nicely done!
