From the Garden Inn, Boquete, W Panama

Somewhat harder to capture than the Buff throated; this guy is enjoying a snack of figs.
Find figs and there you will find all manner of birds

This is a fine image of this bird. Might want to consider cloning out that white patch behind the farthest right hand leaf. It is distracting. You could even crop some of it away.

Beautiful olive color on this bird I've never heard of. Love the fruit eating catch! Good comments from Nancy.

Neat bird, and I like the messy bill telling the story of it feeding on the berry. Bummer about the OOF FG leaf touching the tail. A couple of processing marks to be dealt with, especially the masking around the subject. You also forgot a patch during your NR (small area right beside the leg). I love discovering new birds...thanks for sharing this new one for me!:S3:

good comments all much appreciated

so, recropped a little tighter
used blur tool to knock out leaves/noise, and burn to bright areas
adjusted contrast a little as these are really rich color
improved body edges a little with blur again

if you dont like this now I will rework to original crop

Richard, I much prefer the composition and overall IQ on the original post. I like what you did to the leaf at bottom though, good work there (and the NR touch-up on the forgotten area ).

Richard, OP is better. I agree with Daniel's critique. These must be hard to capture at eye level....liked the messy bill.

Luckily for me I was standing on a balcony 12 ft up!
