Leopard, Savuti... Botswana

I am sitting in the Air France lounge on my way home after two fabulous weeks in Botswana. Photo opps included
7 leopards, 3 cheetah, many lions, wild dogs, countless elephants, and so much more.

Two of the leopard encounters were among my best ever. It is so hard to pick a favorite among the hundreds taken.

1D Mark IV, 500mm
Manual, 1/250 @ f/5.6, ISO 1600
Post-production- 15in MBP, LR3, CS5, NIK

See you where there is light, or at the computer

Gorgeous Chas, like the Zebra (?) rib cage nicely positioned just to add to the composition/story of the image. Was this near the channel, if so, was this Dumatau?

Lovely.

BTW Did you bump into Grant, although I know he is off this week guiding in other areas?

The Leopard looks great but I really like how well he fits into the environment surrounding him.

Good look back pose Chas, and I like the overall colours in this. Good to see a hint of the carcass in the frame too. Well captured.

Lovely image, and the inclusion of the nice evironment and kill also helps, my only nit would be a little tight at the bottom, but still a fantastic image well captured:w3
