Hello everyone. While out the other morning I was able to capture this hawk. I got off my car and walked up to it. I was surprised that it let me get as close as I did. Hope you enjoy. C&C welcomed and encouraged.
Camera - Nikon 300s, Lense - Nikon 200-400, Exposure - 1/800, Aperture - F8, ISO -320, Metering - Multi Segment, Aperture Priority.

Really nice. A bit steep, but the lookback helps.

Good points form Alan.
In addition, I don't think all the space at the top helps the image, and would probably crop down from the top to give about equal amount of blue above the end of the curving branch as it leaves the frame, as there is below the bottom end of the curving limb. This moves the bird up towards the left visually, and works well with the lines of the image. Results in a bit of a squarish crop, but I prefer it overall to OP.
