Gary,
I know that your exposure was reflective of the time of day--just as the sun was going down--but I felt that it was so dark that the colors were losing their separation. I lightened it up a bit and separated the colors somewhat in LAB. (Alfred Forns and Robert Amoruso inspired me to go out and buy Photoshop LAB Color: The Canyon Conundrum by Dan Margulis). Compositionally, I might prefer to see more of the top (where the trees have been cut), and also drop the bottom a bit so that the shape of the white snow (at the extreme bottom edge) is allowed to take form.

Cheers,
David

Hi Gary,

Nice scene. I like the luminosity of the light on the FG shore on the right works as an anchor to the darker portions of the scene. I agree with David's work on the processing and cropping suggestions.
