On the last day of my trip to Alaska I spotted this little guy. It was relatively late (around 10pm) and it was still singing
in a willow together with other birds (do the birds ever sleep around there?). With the help of audio I managed to get it closer for a few shots.
BTW, I find this bird's song pretty cool. Check it out if you have it available.

This is approx a 65% crop of FF. I removed a few branch tips, darkened a couple of faint OOF twigs and repaired part of the perch
which was being a bit obstructed.

C&C are very welcome.

Nice comp and sweet BGD. The body does lack some detail. The right part of perch seems to have better detail than the bird.

Excellent colors and detail... like the unusual perch and that smooth back ground.. Nice one Luis

Good looking little bird Luis. The bkgr is great and all of the colors go well together. Nice light.

Sharpest focus does seem a bit on this side of the bird.... Bummer that the tail lines up with the perch. Good head angle, BKGR, and EXP.

Great background and subject! The bird looks sharp to my eye. I might have gone with a vertical crop if it was mine. :S3:

Thanks all for the comments.
The sharpest focus was on the face, but it quickly falls off and the rump and tail are OOF.
I wish the bird had given me a profile view with this BG, maybe next time... :S3:
