Nice comp and BG. Head and face very sharp as posted. I'm normally OK with DOF fall-off when the eyes are sharp but in this case I find myself wishing the wing was sharper.

I don't think the beak looks gentle in any way :S3:...... the BG compliments very well, nice detail on the head and beak.
