Gail,
Nice shot, to me the yellow legs are too yellow! Try some desaturation or decrease in contrast. The orange rock asks for unwanted attention.

Hi Richard,
Believe it or not this was shot at 7:15am!

Hi Clemens,
I desated the legs in LR by -20 but I like the rock and the color it gives !Better?

Yes, this seems more natural!

Repost looks good! Setting and techs look great but pose does not work very well for me.
Definitely a mater of taste but wish bird was angled away a bit more so we could see more of him. Also wish that the raised leg didn't merge with the other one.
Comp-wise, maybe put bird a bit more off center and add just a tiny bit more room at the bottom to give the virtual feet some breathing room.

Great portrait pic. I like the brighter legs... If it was 7:15am, the light would have brightened the yellow, so it is probably more accurate that way. Also, it really screams YELLOW LEGS. Nice low angle too.

I love the bright yellow legs and agree that it is probably more true to life that way. The bokeh is beautiful and the subtle colors in the rocks make this image stand out to me! Great shot Gail!

Like the raised leg pose, vertical crop, and shallow dof on this, Gail. Repost looks good!

Re-post is perfect.
I really like the FG rocks.
The pose and DOF and crop look great.

Like the vertical composition. Very different than most yellowlegs you see. Well done!
