I have yet to see this bird. Hoping to see this (and the flamboyant male) on my upcoming India trip.

An excellent image of a neat bird - sharp, well exposed, colorful, good head angle and nice catchlight. Bird is well placed in the frame, and the background looks good. Well done!

Is it ever cute! It even has a bit of a timid look to it:S3: This is a difficult pose/perch angle combo to compose...you are pretty much at the limit crop-wise at top and bottom, but I feel you have too much space at left even if you have a 3:2 aspect ratio. Perhapa a 5:4 would work better. Overall IQ looks good, but the sharpening is a tad strong IMO. Thanks for sharing this handsome fella!
