Eastern Bluebird & Chick

I photographed this Male Eastern Bluebird feeding his chick and applied a round of Adobe PB and Topaz Clean, adjusting the strength of the effect via lowering the duplicated layers opacity. I used the History Brush in Photoshop to bring back the original eyes in the birds.

Hi Susan, Absolutely great moment captured. The filter rendering is great with lots of detail in a pleasing,soft way. Beautifully muted backround,great head positions with the addition of a catchlight in each of the subjects eyes that are sharp.
The timing is perfect and kudos on an excellent image.

Thanks to all for your kind comments! Witnessing this scene and getting a series of good straight sharp shots was very fulfilling, but applying some artistic flare to it and getting some nice comments & number of views really rocks!
