Great shot with lovely pose, nice background and catchlight in the eye. I think the composition works even though the bird is in the middle, as it is symmetric. The only thing I wish is to tune down the color/saturation a little bit on the beak and feet to make them less red/orange. Overall a fantastic image, very nice details on the wings too. I was at the island in early July and it was so much fun.

Super pose and HA, and the central placement is the only way to go here. I like the underwing detail, together with the lichen on the rock. The BG may be a touch oversaturated, but I feel it fits this colourful character. :w3

Great pose and you did very well with exposure with nice details on the belly and underwings. The oranges on feet and beak look good to me; however, I find the greens in the BG a tad oversaturated.

Love the comp and the symmetrical wing position. The colors are a tiny bit oversaturated but it works because he is such a colorful and fun bird.

Nice pose on the puffin. I agree with Alan on adding black to the midtones and maybe desaturate the greens and the orange feet.
