This is an African mask crab spider Synema sp (Crab spider family: Thomisidae) taken in my brother in laws garden.

Hey Jason,
The perch really sets of the spider and the DOF and sharpness are excellent! I was going to recommend darkening or cloning in the LLC the same dark purple tone as above it......but it is not a deal breaker and very minimal to the overall appeal and impact of this. I think you really did a great job on this!

Hi Jason. This is a cool-looking crab spider on a very colorful flower. I like the head-on view and the low shooting angle. Good sharpness and DOF, and the light is very well handled with a minimum of specular highlights. :S3: Very well done!

Very nice image excellent detail. Usually I like a little more space around the subject to get a bit of an impression of the environment but I think you have made the correct choice on this one.
