Imaged this little guy from the kayak on a lake that is near my home. It was interesting watching his butt bob up and down as he scanned the shoreline for bugs.

Bug and feather are bonuses in this wonderful image. Rich colors and a great subject.

The bug and the feather and diagonal line created by the butt up make this image truly unique. I love it!

Fantastic intimate view of the feeding behaviour! You've caught the essence of this species perfectly. A couple of minor tweaks: I thought your image was a little too yellow so I added a bit of blue in Color Balance, then eliminated a few distracting (IMO) highlights (extra feather at perch base, and some spots in the BG.). Hope you like.

Great natural action image and repost only makes it better. Love the composition of body angle down log and the single feather adds to image.
Hand held 500mm 1.4x !! Never get over people doing this.

The feather and the catch add a lot to this image !! Daniel's repost is bang on with the cloning of the distracting reflections in the BG .

Top class stuff - a great shot. The slight yellow cast - have to admit I didn't really appreciate it until Dan corrected it.

I much prefer the OP with the nice rich warm colours. Repost looks a bit dull to me.
