Bison in blizzard
Just watched a special on YNP and just had to look back through my images.
The conditions these animals endure in winter is incredible. This bison is head plowing through the snow in search of grass. Image taken at-37F in blizzard like conditions, and I cannot wait to return.

Manual (spot off snow plus 2.7 EV), 1/200 @ f/5.6, ISO 800
Post-production- 15in MBP, LR3, CS5, NIK
