Hey Christopher,
I don't think it needs room on the bottom! Hair on the top maybe, but remember.....I like tight comps! Fantstic light, great BG, and excellent sharpness make this a winner in my book but the added drops put this over the top! Excellent job all around!

I also like the tight crop. The compostion, colors, details and bokeh seem close to perfect to me.

The vertical bright red-orange beetle is cool. But the details of the water drops and fine hairs on the plant make this super.

Hi Christopher. This is one of your best yet! I would agree with Roman that it doesn't need more room at the bottom - maybe just a bit at the top, but that's a very minor point. The colors, fine detail on the beetle, the water drops, the diagonal of the perch, and the nice background all combine to make this an outstanding image!

It's a peach of a shot great focus and exposure - super detail. I would add a little canvas top and bottom - not much.
